This is unbelievable!
After 7 years of silence, Linkin Park is back with new music and a new singer.
Based on announcements earlier today, the band returns with new music and vocalist Emily Armstrong, since the death of lead singer Chester Bennington.
The rock band debuted new singer Emily Armstrong and drummer Colin Brittain on a livestream yesterday (5 Sept), and members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Phoenix and Joe Hahn, are also returning!
“This is a very special day for us. In the role of Chester Bennington, this afternoon is each of you”, said Shinoda on the livestream.
Their performance featured their new single ‘The Emptiness Machine’, and the group also announced a new album, ‘From Zero’, slated for release Nov. 15.
They also revealed their ‘From Zero World Tour’, which will include five shows in Los Angeles, New York, Germany, London and South Korea, as well as a sixth concert in Bogotá, Colombia.
Emily Armstrong was previously a member of the alt-rock band Dead Sara, while Colin Brittain (a songwriter and producer), previously worked with Papa Roach, One OK Rock and All Time Low.
