A local man's consistent commitment to feeding stray cats has quietly earned him many people's hearts.
Mamu has been going to Nasi Kandar Sulaiman every day for more than a year to buy fried chicken to give to the cats that have become used to him.
The kind man has been coming in every day, rain or shine, to buy his daily fried chickens, according to the shop owner.
Employees at the store have grown to recognise him for his devotion after witnessing him regularly feed the neighbourhood cats.
“He loves those cats so much,” the shop owner said.
“He’s been coming in consistently for nearly a year and if we do the math, at RM5.50 for one piece of chicken per day, he’s spent almost RM2,007. It’s incredible”
Many have expressed admiration for Mamus dedication, with some believing his kind-hearted actions will bring him great rewards.
