While the domestic travel bubble is slowly being implemented in Malaysia, looks like travelling interstate is still out of the question.
According to the Minister of Defence, Hishammuddin Hussein stated that decisions on matters regarding interstate travelling must first be reviewed by a specific committee.
"Interstate travel is related to the phases of the PPN. However, recommendations will come from ministers responsible for specific sectors which will then be considered at various levels including the Special Committee on Pandemic Management as well as the Covid-19 Ministerial Quartet Meeting." , he continued.
The defence minister has previously announced the simplification of PPN SOPs are in the making in order to make it more accessible and less confusing to the public. Relaxation on the sports centres and potential on other travel bubbles would then soon follow.
