“How to defend the country if you can’t even be gentle with your wife?!”
In a case of domestic abuse that recently circulated online, a soldier has come under fire for hitting and threatening to kill his wife.
The scene took place at a military quarters in Malacca, whereby the altercation was witnessed by several neighbours.
Upon being confronted by their concerns, the deranged man then proceeded to take a knife before aiming it at his wife to further escalate the situation. A child can also be heard crying in the background.
He’s now been detained by police for further interrogation.
Rattled by the footage, angered netizens criticised that such act is an embarrassment to the government, and will only tarnish the military reputation.
