Following the recently announced MCO 2.0, a special aid package worth over RM15 Billion will be distributed in due time as announced by our PM today.
Multiple aids introduced will be able to equip every Malaysian affected by the lockdown, including:
• Private hospitals will now help to cater to covid patients, alongside public hospitals.
• Registered foreign workers will be provided with free covid screening tests under PERKESO.
• Tax relief for covid screening tests
• BPN 2.0 to be distributed 21st January onwards
• Food Basket Program (worth RM100 each) to be distributed to affected households.
• Moratorium aids for loan installments to be continued, as well as PTPTN.
• Wage Subsidy Program to be introduced for employers less than RM4K wage.

In his announcement, Prime Minister also mentioned that the Covid-19 vaccine is mandatory to be taken once authorized, with the reassurance that it has been halal-certified.
The vaccine distribution is predicted to commence from March onwards.
