Vaccine Will Arrives In Malaysia On February 21 | Step-By-Step Instructions On How To Register Yourself For Vaccination Using MySejahtera App

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin has announced that the vaccine will arrive in Malaysia on February 21. 

This batch of vaccines is from Pfizer (United States). 

The first batch of people to be vaccinated in Malaysia will be frontline personnel and the Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin.


According to news reports, this vaccination program will benefit both the Malaysian nationals and non-nationals. 

If anyone is not vaccinated, his/ her movement within the country would be restricted. 

Besides, you will be restricted from going abroad too. 

Below are the steps to register for vaccination through MySejahtera app. 

1. Open MySejahtera App or the official government vaccine website to register.

2. You will be informed of the appointment date.

3. You will be instructed to go to a nearby vaccination centre.

4. Check your temperature and symptoms (if any).

5. Scan the QR code to confirm your identity.

6. Obtain the approval form.

7. Start to inject the first dose of vaccine, and get proof that the first vaccine has been injected.

8. Wait for 30 minutes at the centre to see if there is any side effect.

9. Get a vaccination card.

10. If there is any discomfort or side effect(s) after vaccination, you can report through MySejahtera, or go to the nearby health clinic for help.



11. Receive the appointment time for the second vaccination.

12. Go to the designated vaccination centre.

13. Check your physical condition at the vaccination centre.

14. Scan the QR code to confirm your identity.

15. Receive the second dose and get proof that the second vaccine has been injected.

16. After vaccination, wait at the vaccination centre for 30 minutes.

17. Obtain the vaccination certificate.

18. If there is any discomfort or side effect(s) after vaccination, you can report through MySejahtera, or go to the nearby health clinic for help.



In addition to registration through MySejahtera app, you can also register through the upcoming vaccination registration hotline, with designated government and private clinics and hospitals, and the state government. You may check out more with this link
