Penang Smart Parking App Hacked, All Users' Account Balance Appear As RM4.40

Do you use the Penang Smart Parking App? Well, if you do, open your app now and check your balance, does it say RM 4.40?

If you had more than that in the account, don't panic! If you had less then that, don't get too excited, there's no special promotion for you. 


According to the Penang Smart Parking's Facebook page, users are advised not to worry. According to their statement, the app is facing some technical issues and their team are working on fixing it as soon as possible.

They also stated that all the user's wallets are secure and their balances are intact.

Many netizens are speculating that the app was hacked which is causing some worry among users since some of them have kept a large sum of money in their account to pay for their parking. 


The technical issues also comes ta a bad time for some who are now unable to pay for parking due to the issue.


We hope that the Penang Smart Parking team works on solving the problem as soon as possible.
