We're getting a Malaysian K-Drama you guys!
Recently it was announced that there would be a Malaysian adaptation of K-Drama W:Two Worlds, and on June 27 Viu Malaysia decided to hold an exclusive behind-the-scenes interview session of the upcoming series.
The line-up for the drama would include Daiyan Trisha, Hun Haqeem, Elizabeth Tan, Mierul Aiman, Faizal Hussein, and Tony Eusoff.
W:Two Worlds tells the story of Oh Yeon-Joo (Han Hyo-Joo), whose life takes a turn for the complicated when her father, the author of the comic W, mysteriously vanishes.
Fate intervenes and she finds herself transported into the webtoon, where she becomes the saviour of the main character, Kang Chul (Lee Jong-Suk). But actions carry consequences. Yeon-Joo delves deeply in the narrative, and blurs the boundaries between fiction and reality.
The Malaysian version of the K-Drama will tell the same story with leads Daiyan Trisha as Izara and Hun Haqeem as Aliff.
