Sarawak will proceed with the implementation of the existing Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) or Circuit Breaker from 7th May 2021 to 17th May 2021.
Sarawak has decided to tighten the restrictions of the SOPs as follows:
• Restaurants, Eateries, Bistros, Cafés, food, and beverage stalls are NOT ALLOWED to operate on a "dine-in" basis. Only takeaways, drive-throughs, or deliveries are permissible.
These are the measures to be taken by premises that have been identified as high risk in spreading the COVID-19 outbreak generated through the Hotspot Identification for Dynamic Engagement (HIDE) system.
# As for Raya SOPs, here are what is allowed and vice versa:
What's Allowed:
1. Takbir Raya.
2. Sunat Raya prayers are allowed in suraus and mosques, but only according to available capacity and with social distancing.
3. Ziarah Hari Raya (for immediate family members only) allowed on 1st Syawal.
However, this does not apply to areas subjected to EMCO. Muslims involved in the EMCO area, are asked to pray Aidilfitri at home.
What's not allowed:
1. Grave visitations.
1. Banquet after Aidilfitri prayers is not to be held. However, Food takeaways from the mosque are allowed.
2. Door to door takbir.
3. Tahlil ceremonies.
