There’s no denying that mamak food is one of the best in the world, and even a Japanese ambassador approves the notion!
Taking to X to wish Malaysians a happy 66th Independence Day, Takahashi Katsuhiko shared that he’s decided to commemorate the day by “chilling at the mamak”, something that he finally did for the first time.
Along with his two other colleagues, they stopped by Pelita Nasi Kandar to sample a variety of dishes. Among the trio’s choices were Maggie Goreng, Roti Tisu, Roti Canai, Milo Dinosaur and of course, Nasi Kandar.
Katsuhiko and his female colleague, in particular, were seen thoroughly enjoying the wondrous flavours of each dishes, albeit finding some a tad spicy for their palate. All in all, this won’t be their first and last time at the mamak.
