The COVID-19 pandemic has forced many people to start wearing masks to protect themselves as the virus can remain airborne for a surprisingly long time.
Well, it seems like apart from human beings, Gods are more than happy to wear masks themselves too. xD
In a Thai culture exhibition organized by Museum Siam in Bangkok, a statue of Thai folklore’s household divinity, Nang Kwak was seen wearing a face mask. Besides that, a smaller Hanuman statue placed in front of the household spirit statue was also given a face shield.

It was reported that the two God statues will be exhibited permanently in the museum.
Although it was not stated why the statues were given face mask and shield, the stunt is very likely to remind all visitors to protect themselves from the deadly virus by wearing masks. How brilliant this is!
