After spending almost three months without income, the owners of the barbershops and beauty salons had finally received a piece of good news from the government that they can resume their businesses on June 10.

Although the pandemic is not over, many of the owners of the barbershops and beauty salons believe there will be no problems as long as adequate anti-preventive measures are taken.

According to the standard operating procedures (SOPs), operators of barbershops and beauty salons need to use disposable anti-pandemic supplies such as apron, gloves. Besides, they also need to disinfect all supplies after receiving a customer. This has implicitly increased their operating costs.

As for whether to adjust the fees to meet the additional expenses, some have said that they will not, and some are still considering it, and emphasize that they will never raise prices unreasonably.
