A recent TikTok video in Malaysia sparked controversy over whether or not it's appropriate to eat in public during Ramadan.
In the initial video, a female TikTok user named Dina Sayang accused a group of military officers of breaking their fast during the holy month.
However, another TikTok user named Epul7899 responded by pointing out that not all military officers are Muslim and some come from different cultural and religious backgrounds including Kadazan, Iban and Bidayuh.

He also warned that posting videos like this could tarnish the reputation of the Malaysian Armed Forces and even result in legal charges under Section 223 of the Multimedia Act.
This incident highlights the importance of understanding cultural differences and doing proper research before making accusations.
Like our Muslim friends would say, "Jangan sesekali buka aib diri dan orang lain."
