Nobody does it like JENNIE.
Surpassing her own group and members, Jennie’s debut solo album “Ruby” is rated a high 7.1 by Pitchfork.
And if you are unaware, Pitchfork raters are extremely critical and a 7 is considered not just good, but very good especially for a debut album.
In fact, out of all the K-Pop singers reviewed by Pitchfork so far, Jennie received the highest rating with Ruby.
She outperformed her BLACKPINK bandmates Lisa and Rosé, whose most recent solo albums had scores of 5.2 and 5.5, respectively.
Additionally, Jennie beat BLACKPINK's best score of 6.5 on Pitchfork for their 2022 album, Born Pink.
Jennie, BLACKPINK’s main rapper and lead vocalist is currently moving up the charts every day, as she captures the attention of fans not just in Korea but worldwide!
