Recently, there was news circulating about a woman who was stabbed at a laundromat in Kampung Seberang Takir, Terengganu. Based on the CCTV footage, the victim was seen walking to a corner of the laundromat when suddenly an unknown assailant rushed towards her and attacked her with a pair of scissors.

The 25-year-old perpetrator, Muhammad Faiz Radzali, was subsequently arrested and pleaded guilty to attempted robbery and the stabbing. The man, who is also an unemployed individual, has been sentenced to seven years in prison and four strokes of the cane by the Kuala Terengganu Sessions Court. As for the victim, apart from being stabbed in the back, she was also assaulted and kicked before being left in pain by the suspect. Immediately, the victim was taken to the Emergency Unit of Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital (HSNZ) for treatment and was reported to be in stable condition.
