Last night, several video clips went viral showing chaos erupting upon the arrival of the late Royal Malaysian Navy helicopter crash victim, Muhammad Firdaus, as his remains were being ceremoniously transported to the nearby Islamic cemetery near Masjid Jamek Sungai Nibong Besar. Northeast District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Razlam Ab Hamid confirmed receiving reports of the incident.

The report was filed by a man who is also a car driver at the Northeast District Police Headquarters (IPD) late last night.

"Regarding the incident, the police have received a report from a man who is also a car driver in question. The case is being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code, and as of now, no arrests have been made. The driver's side window was shattered, but the vehicle driver was not injured," he said when contacted by Harian Metro today.

Netizens allege that the individual claiming to be at the scene during the incident, the involved car driver, was described as impatient and disrespectful of the ceremonial proceedings. It is understood that more than 1,000 mourners attended the mosque to perform the funeral prayers for the Royal Malaysian Navy Squadron 503 Officer.
