Adulting is hard work. Besides the normal workload we have on the daily, this whole pandemic has seemed to have doubled it all.
Our new norm of working from home does have it's benefits, but also its many disadvantages. For one, we never seem to clock out.
The continuous working hours is a challenge, and can very well push people faster as well as, closer to a burnout. So how do you know, if you're inching toward that scene?
Here are 6 signs that could mean you're done.
#1 Not motivated
You constantly feel demotivated. There is no oomph to do what you're meant to do, and everything sort of just feels bland.
#2 Can't sleep
Insomnia is real by the way, and it happens a lot to people who are always on an unrest mode. You can't seem to get any shut-eye, no matter how hard you try.
#3 Emotionally all over the place
You're emotional more so than you like, and more so while you're working. Everything just feels like way too much to handle.
#4 Anxious all the goddamn time
Fidgety and uncertain about so many things, it always feels like you're on the edge of your seat. You cannot work in peace and there is no calm.
#5 Dead tired
Even if it's doing the most minimal amount of work, a burnout can make you feel like you're fatigued beyond words. You're not only physically tired, but you're also mentally and emotionally done.
#6 Triggered
As fragile as a twig, you snap at any moment. There are so many triggers and it constantly sets you off.
