Saying that Animal Crossing: New Horizons has a religious following is an understatement. There are tons of fans of the hugely successful Nintendo Switch game. Soon, we will be enjoying the game without needing a Nintendo Switch. That's right, Animal Crossing is having its own version of Monopoly!
The design is mainly based on the game, which provides a sense of familiarity. Although there are similarities in physical appearance, Animal Crossing Monopoly has its own sets of rules and playbook.
There are 4 villagers to choose from, allowing up to 4 players in the game. Properties are now islands with resources such as bugs, fish, fossils, and fruits for players to collect. The players then need to sell resources for Bells, buy decorations, and earn Nook Miles to win!
That's right, the goal is correct the most Nook Miles by completing missions around the board. There is also a new Nook's Cranny die aside from the regular numbered die, and special skills and abilities (of course) to add a new dimension to the game!
Since the official announcement just a few days ago, the game is currently on sale on Amazon, and is still in pre-order on other websites. As for Animal Crossing fans in Malaysia, we'll just have to wait a little.
