Who knew there was an incorrect way of putting anti-perspirant?
Yes, it might sound odd to be putting anti-perspirant right before bed as we've been conditioned to think that deodorant is for day use but well, apparently that's an outdated practice.
If you own an anti-perspirant deodorant, it is best applied at night, before bed. The logic? As you tend to sweat less due to the drop in the temperature of your body, the chemicals contained in anti-perspirant is better absorbed by your skin. Overnight, those active ingredients will successfully block the sweat glands from producing sweats. This, of course, only applies to anti-perspirant deodorants and not the regular ones so keep in mind!
However, do remember not to apply it right after you shower as anti-perspirant on wet skin would just defy its purpose. Make sure your skin is completely dry before you glide deodorant on your skin.
