The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia continues to rise, and the virus is really getting closer to us. If you are diagnosed with COVID-19 and arranged to be sent to the quarantine centre, remember not to panic and prepare the following essential items (suggested by the Selangor State Information Bureau) for quarantine.
#1. Clothing
Bring enough clothes (such as coats and pyjamas) to prevent the virus from staying on your body.
#2. Disposable Underwear
It is recommended to use and throw disposable underwear away after using. This can avoid bringing the virus home.
#3. Toiletries
Avoid sharing toothpaste, toothbrushes, and towels with others to avoid being infected with COVID-19.
#4. Small Bag
You can keep your valuables such as mobile phones and wallets with just a tote bag along with you.
#5. Masks & Hand Sanitizer
Replace your mask and clean your hands frequently to avoid transmission of the COVID-19 virus.
#6. Medicines
Bring the medicines that you usually take and let the doctor know the medicine you are taking so that they can understand your physical condition better.
#7. Packed Food Or Ready-To-Drink Beverage
You can avoid starvation if you are not used to eating food prepared at the vaccination centre.
#8. Slippers
You will not need to be afraid of your shoes getting wet or difficult to dry shoes if you are wearing slippers.
#9. Electronics, Headphones & Books
You can read some books or watch movies with headphones on (so that you will not disturb the other persons). Besides, having a smartphone and headphone allow you to keep in touch with your family.
#10. Charger & Power Bank
If you bring electronic products with you, remember to bring a charger and power bank because they might run out of power.
