A terrible occurrence happened lately in Bangsar South where an air conditioning repairman was working on a compressor in a 10-story commercial office building when he lost his life.
The deceased, who was 58 years old, was falling from the seventh level while working with two colleagues to fix the air conditioner when the iron railing he was using to support himself suddenly broke way.
Sin Chew said that a delivery man nearby heard a loud noise and reported the occurrence, citing sources at the site.
Following the call, police raced to the scene and discovered the body face down and covered in blood on the ground. Another discovery close to the body was the fallen iron guardrail.
According to preliminary findings, the terrible accident was caused by the iron guardrail collapsing suddenly.
To ascertain the precise cause of death, the deceased's body has been taken to the University of Malaya Medical Centre for an autopsy.
The 44-year-old lady in charge of an adjacent workplace claimed that the noise from the air conditioner compressor outside her building prevented her from hearing the fall sound.
It wasn't until a gathering gathered outside that she realised what had happened.
