While dozens of durian stalls are vying for people to flock to their establishments, some sellers are finding more unusual ways to boost their business. From shirtless men to a claw machine, the quirkiness of these techniques are winning over netizens in big ways.
A stall in Terangannu has recently joined in the viral craze and began a pretty attractive promotion of giving away 1 free durian with a purchase. However, from a recent TikTok video, there's a fairly interesting catch to that deal.

In the more than 1 minute video, user @echa_achaa filmed her friend holding up a promotional sign at the ST Durian stall for some local durians. As they held up the sign for a kg of the D24 species being RM26, what tickled them is what the seller had written underneath the price.
Along with some drawings of hearts, the stall had stated on the sign that if you are single and aren't in a relationship, they were willing to throw in an extra durian just for free to perhaps eat those sorrows away.
It's an ingenious tactic to say the least, and if you're single, reading this and live or are willing to take a trip to Terrenganu, there is a durian stall just waiting for you.
