A fatal accident at Bukit Mertajam has taken one life on Thursday (May 7) morning.
A Proton Wira crashed into the guardrail after the driver allegedly lost control of the car, reports Kwong Wah Yit Poh. It is said that 2 men were trapped inside the car when the firefighters arrived. One of them was the driver, and the other the passenger.

They were successfully rescued from the car after one hour. The driver sustained minor injuries and has been taken to the Seberang Jaya Hospital, while the passenger died on the spot.
Car accidents happen when we least expect them. That’s why we REALLY need to be extra careful while on the road to prevent tragedy like this.
