If you register for vaccinations for your family members through the MySejahtera app with your mobile phone, you can transfer the vaccination e-certificate from your MySejahtera account to that of your family members after they have received 2 doses of vaccine. Below are the steps to transfer the vaccination certification to the MySejahtera account of the vaccine recipient.
Steps
1. Open MySejahtera App and click "COVID-19 Vaccination".
2. Select "Add Vaccination Dependent".
3. Under the dependent you want to remove, click "Remove Vaccine Dependent".
4. Click "OK" to confirm the removal.
5. Your dependent need to log in to the MySejahtera account. Then, register for the vaccination as usual. If the information is correct, the vaccination e-certificate will immediately appear in his/ her MySejahtera account.
It’s worth noting that the vaccination certification on the MySejahtera plays a pivotal role as it is currently the only recognized vaccination certificate in Malaysia. Other than showing your hard copy vaccination card, it is advisable to have a smartphone with an internet connection to display the vaccination certification whenever needed.
