Malaysia has recorded a total of 24, 565 Covid-19 related deaths so far since the start of the pandemic. For many, the statistics are far more than just numbers— but an immense loss they're forced to accept and suffer through for the rest of their lives.

One heart-rending TikTok video has gone viral on social media that would break anyone who sees it. A man who was recently released from jail learned a little too late that his mother and sister have passed away while he was behind bars. The tear-jerking reunion was, needless to say, hard to watch.

Losing a parent is the kind of unimaginable pain that no child would wish to go through— no one will ever be truly ready to lose their pillars of strength. For many, this video serves as a lesson and a grave reminder to appreciate and cherish their parents while they're still alive and well.
