A proud moment for Malaysia, as roti canai was crowned world's best street food by Croatian-based travel guide TasteAtlas.
The list ranked 50 street foods across the world, that saw the Malaysian staple beating Filipino spring rolls 'lumpiang Shanghai'(2nd place) , Japanese garage (3rd place), and Vietnam's banh mee (4th place).
Fiftieth place went to Korean's tteokboki. While this being a milestone for Malaysia, some locals are getting stressed over another reason.
They are worried that there will be a price hike following this achievement. What if mamak stall owners decided to overcharge Malaysians for a roti canai? Check out their hilarious comments here!
