A sinkhole emerged this morning in front of Masjid India, causing panic among locals and disrupting the area. The incident, confirmed by the Fire and Rescue Department, occurred when a stone floor suddenly collapsed, forming a sinkhole approximately six meters deep.
Among those affected by the collapse was an Indian woman, who was reported to be trapped within the sinkhole. The Fire and Rescue Department promptly dispatched a team of firefighters to the scene to conduct rescue operations. The situation is currently under control, with efforts ongoing to safely extricate the woman.
A spokesperson from the Kuala Lumpur Operation Center assured that the department is working diligently to resolve the situation and will provide further updates as more information becomes available from the operation officers on-site.
