Squid Game Season 3 release date: Directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk for Netflix, the much-awaited update about the show's next season is here.
Netflix will release the highly anticipated third season of Squid Game earlier than anticipated. The South Korean dystopian survival program will be available for streaming starting in June, Netflix revealed with a new poster.
The image depicts a pink-masked guard bringing a deceased player wearing the show's signature green jumpsuit into a bow-adorned coffin, a detail that was included in season 2.
They wrote, "Nothing can prepare you for the final season of Squid Game. Season 3 premieres June 27. #NextOnNetflix."
Given that they waited three years from 2021 to witness the second season, fans were both excited and dubious about the statement. "You mean this June right?" someone said in the comment section.
"Prepare for the final game" is written on the poster, indicating that this will be the show's last season.
