MySejahtera is a must-have app right now as long as you have a smartphone. It has inarguably helped the government in controlling and containing the spread of the virus. Besides keeping the app running smoothly and without a hitch, the team behind MySejahtera are also always trying to bring new features to the app. This time, we have quite an update, so head over to your App Store or Google Play Store to update the app now!
According to our current health minister Khairy Jamaluddin's Twitter post, MySejahtera will now make it easier to display your risk level and vaccination status on the check-in page. That's right, no more fumbling and scrolling through the app to show shop owners your status. Here's how it looks like:
- Everything will be shown on the Check-in page as soon as you open the app.
- If you are a Covid-19 patient, a red banner with "Confirmed Case" will be shown.
- Most people with no contact will see a blue banner with "Low Risk No Symptom".
- Fully vaccinated people will have yellow banners while those unvaccinated will see a white one.
Meanwhile, there is an all new check-out function after you check-in to any location. This is to improve the precision at which contact tracing happens. So, remember to tap on it whenever you leave a location! Note: YOU DON'T HAVE TO SCAN THE BARCODE AGAIN TO CHECK-OUT!
