It all began when @bihanuha and her family decided to take a leisurely stroll in the vicinity of Pasar Seni. As they paused near a flower shop, her husband ventured inside to make a quick purchase, leaving her and their children on the sidewalk. At that moment, the area appeared deserted, with only a woman and a homeless man resting nearby.
Suddenly, a young man approached the scene, exhibiting bizarre and aggressive behaviour. He performed a flying kick directed at an unsuspecting woman, leaving onlookers stunned. Fear gripped @bihanuha as she worried about the safety of her children and herself, but thankfully, the assailant moved on to target the homeless man who had been peacefully resting on the sidewalk.
The situation escalated rapidly as the attacker repeatedly kicked and stomped on the defenceless homeless man. Bystanders, including @bihanuha, were gripped with fear and shock. The fear that the attacker might have a weapon kept them from intervening. She urgently called for help, but most people remained passive, only observing the horrifying scene unfold.
As panic set in, @bihanuha's husband rushed to protect their children while the attacker continued his assault. The homeless man, who was unconscious at this point, lay helpless with severe injuries, including a head wound that was bleeding profusely.
Despite the terrifying situation, @bihanuha and her husband managed to keep the victim conscious and tried to stop the bleeding as they waited for an ambulance to arrive. The head wound, caused by repeated stomping on the concrete sidewalk, was particularly severe.
After a tense wait of approximately 15 minutes, the ambulance finally arrived on the scene. Throughout the ordeal, the homeless man remained unresponsive, his eyes welling up with tears, a heartbreaking sight.
It is important to note that the homeless man had not bothered anyone and had been peacefully resting at the edge of the sidewalk. His sudden and violent assault by an unhinged individual without provocation underscores the need for vigilance even in seemingly safe public spaces.
