Driving along roads at night can be a fair bit perilous, especially when the road you are driving on contains few to nearly no street lights. Ultimately, it's imperative that all your blinkers and headlights work properly in order to see where you are going as well as assist other drivers along your journey. However, when those fail, a nearest workshop to repair them is the best solution. Or in the example of these group of friends, there may be other, more unconventional ways to help.
Appearing in a video on TikTok from the user @icecoldfreezzy, these group of friends in Sabah found a way to assist their fellow driver after their blinkers broke down. Taking it on themselves to turn on their phone flash lights, they stuck their hands out of their car and waved them around, creating a "manual" turn signal.
Throughout the 13-second video, a Kancil can be seen driving along the dark road at night, while the front and rear passengers begin to help their friend by sticking their hands out the window, waving their smartphones around, with the flashlight on them turned on. Due to the fact that their car indicator lights had broken down, they had thought this would be the best possible solution to inform drivers when they would be making a turn.
Looking almost more like a show at a concert, their efforts, while hilarious, proved wonderfully useful as it still allowed other drivers to know when the Kancil was about to make turn, while also perhaps providing some much needed entertainment on this nightly journey.
