This is so scary!
Yesterday, two men, one who works at a car wash and another at a restaurant, were arrested for attempting to mug a woman, whose car broke down on the KESAS highway.
The Shah Alam District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner reported that the suspects (33 and 32), were apprehended between 1-3am today in Shah Alam and Klang. The arrests was thanks to the report of the 58yo victim, filed yesterday.
She noted that she had stopped by the roadside due to her car breaking down, when the suspects approached her on a motorcycle, asking for directions.
One then grabbed her wallet from her crossbody bag. She quickly grabbed the suspect’s hand, and was dragged along the road, sustaining minor injuries to her head and left leg.
Further investigations then revealed that both the suspects had prior criminal and drug-related records, plus tests confirmed that they were positive for meth.
The victim was thankfully treated at Shah Alam Hospital for her injuries, and her losses included her IC, bank cards, and RM500 in cash.
