American Researchers Create Electrotherapy Bandage Prototype For Wounds, Healing Rate Up To Nearly 30% Faster

Researchers at the Northwestern University (Illinois, USA) have created a bandage prototype that uses electrotherapy to speed up the healing rate of wounds, especially of those on diabetic patients.

Tiny but mighty, the flexible bandage is also known as world's first bioresorbable material due to its harmless nature once absorbed by the body post-healing process. It's reported that the prototype was first tested on mice, where results show an astounding 30% recovery rate.
