A wheelchair-bound tourist was faced with an inconveniece after being unable to access the Langkawi Jetty entrance.
In a video shared by a local who runs a tour company on the island, the tourist was seen struggling to find an accessible walkway, as his friend looked over in distress.
The ordeal left him frustrated, and it’s unknown whether he was able to find an alternative.
This has caused viewers to ponder upon the lack of disabled-friendly facilities in general, as many pointed out that Malaysia needs to improve that aspect to accommodate everyone’s needs.
