Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has just announced that barbershops, hair salons, beauty salons, and morning & night markets can resume operations on June 10 by following standard operating procedures (S.O.P).
Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced certain businesses to reopen in the press conference today, including manicure and pedicure businesses, barbershops and hair salons, beauty salons, morning markets and night markets.

According to The Star, for hair care and beauty sector,
"We will allow basic hair cuts, hair washing, trimming and shaving of beards and mustaches, hair treatment, manicures, pedicures, facial washing and treatment," he said.
"They must change gloves before attending to the next customer and customers must wear disposable aprons,"
According to Malay Mail,
“We ask for specific timing to be set by these shops, to avoid customers mixing with others; for example, they could maybe designate 10 am to 12 pm for senior citizens only, because senior citizens are among the high-risk groups (to contract Covid-19),” he said.
“The general SOPs of having the person’s temperature taken, providing hand sanitizers and record-keeping of customers’ names all still apply,” he added.

For markets, the SOP prepared by the Kuala Lumpur City Hall for open markets (6 am to 11 am), morning markets (6 am to 11 am), night markets (4 pm to 10 pm), and bazaars (5 pm to 11 pm) would be applied nationwide.
He said it should be located in an open area and the crowd should only flow in one direction.
