Lodged police report
The 41-year-old rider lodged a police report on Friday (Jun. 16). "He said that he only knew about the case after the news came out on TV and social media," Mohd Azam said. The man is currently not under arrest for now as he had also sustained "serious injuries" and is "having difficulties walking".
"He suffered a broken shoulder, finger and other injuries on his shoulder and leg," Mohd Azam added. The police would take further steps once his condition has stabilised. The police had also recorded statements from six people including the suspect so far.
They also seized the motorcycles belonging to the victim and the suspect. The vehicles will be sent to the Computerised Vehicle Inspection Centre (Puspakom) and the Chemistry Department for further inspections. The case is being investigated.
