The footage, originally posted on TikTok by Majlis Bandaraya Seberang Perai (MBSP) enforcement officer Azrie, showcased authorities uncovering the unexpected living space.
In the now-viral video, which has since been reuploaded on Facebook, MBSP officers can be seen lifting a makeshift cover made of cardboard that concealed the secret dwelling. To their astonishment, inside the drain lay a neatly arranged bed, complete with a mattress and a yellow blanket.
