If there is one thing people should learn how to understand generally, and especially in this day and age, is that no, means no.
Based on a viral tweet by JuiceMY, this lady in China literally went down on her knees, to beg a suitor to stop pursuing her, simply because he couldn't take no for an answer.
No Means NO!

Woman Kneels In Public, Begs Suitor To Stop Chasing After Her pic.twitter.com/EGHd74pc2g
Via the video, it is seen that the woman is on the ground begging and pleading a man, who happens to also be on the ground, with a bouquet of flowers by his side.
At one point in the video, she throws the flowers at him, and continues to plead him to (we're assuming), give up.
According to eyewitnesses, the man had actually been going after the lady for 5 years, despite her constantly saying no. His inability to fathom rejection made him to continually pursue her.
Since blowing up on Twitter, many netizens have gotten riled up about the matter, and honestly, we don't blame them.
no fr cs many of us can relate to something similar. and it doesn’t help that movies and tv romanticise relentless pursuit. pls it’s not sweet it’s sexual harassment https://t.co/WkLnCkcgNK

No he wasn't "pursuing" her for 5 years. If she had continuously rejected him and he STILL chased after her until she had to do this in public - please just call it what it is: He was HARASSING her. Disrespecting her. He's very clearly unwilling to listen to her wishes and needs. https://t.co/2mpQrscQbM

Ada 'solution' on the replies said, get a bf then he'll stop. No. Some women dont even want a rship AT ALL, in the first place. Respect her and her decision.

Tu pun payah sgt ke? https://t.co/y2PIJlagPQ
I think rom-com movies banyak suggest this kind of behaviour, yang kalau kau chase someone that you admire, relentlessly, eventually dia akan fall in love with you——- we have to stop spreading this male-centric narrative. https://t.co/iDph0kOJX6
