Janushaa Bala Krishnan Muthiah, once made headlines in 2018 when she became the first-ever Malaysian woman to be accepted into a prestigious US military academy. Now here she is again, getting her name forever etched in history as the first-ever Malaysian woman to have graduated from United States Naval Academy (USNA) in Annapolis, Maryland.
She had undergone four years of training and is now a proud holder of a double degree in computer engineering and electrical engineering.
Another Malaysian with similar achievement, Putra Nadeem Damanhuri Bin Ahmad Damanhuri from Royal Military College (RMC) graduated from the US Air Force Academy (USAFA) in Colorado Springs, Colorado, having pursued a degree in Astronautical Engineering.
Both Janushaa and Putra Nadeem were accepted into the US Naval Academy as well as the US Air Force Academy back in 2018, beating numerous other applications.
