Have you sneaked in food on the plane before?
If you're a frequent flyer for work, you're likely familiar with the policy prohibiting outside food and drinks on planes. As we've seen, AirAsia's CEO Tony Fernandes has been making surprise appearances on recent flights, often treating passengers to complimentary meals and drinks.
On one such occasion, Tony encountered a passenger who had discreetly brought outside food onto the plane. In a light-hearted moment, he jokingly told the passenger, 'No free drinks for you.' However, he didn't miss the opportunity to engage, asking her about the food she had brought – Korean Chicken.
Later, Tony continued his rounds, distributing complimentary drinks to other passengers, while playfully reminding the cabin crew to hand him the bill later.
In the comments, many praised the AirAsia CEO for his down-to-earth demeanour and interaction with passengers whilst others expressed surprise at never having been stopped for bringing outside food on AirAsia flights before.
