On top of Malaysia's Covid-19 surge, and politics gone haywire, is the nation's Health Minister Dr. Adham Baba, not making anything better, but certainly making quality jokes.
Via an official press conference regarding the number of cases and the severity of the plague, he refers to the Spanish Flu which happened in 1918, as the 'Spanish Fly'.

With nothing going right throughout the country, the complete negligence of the government and now a supposed 'Dr' repeatedly saying 'Spanish Fly', netizens are just about done with Malaysia.
Since the spike of Covid-19 cases in the third quarter of last year, the country has gone into an emergency lockdown beginning January 2021 right up to today.
Despite all efforts, positive cases still surpass 8k on the daily, people still continue to die, parliament still yet to reconvene, and vaccinations rates still slower than anyone would like them to be.
