GEORGE TOWN - Police received a report on the viral nanny who allegedly abused a baby by throwing an object believed to be a package of goods on the back of a baby’s body yesterday.
The incident is said to have taken place at a nursery in Bayan Baru here which accommodates children from infancy.
Southwest District Police Chief, Superintendent Kamarul Rizal Jenal said, his department is conducting a detailed investigation into the incident.
"The investigation is being conducted under Section 3 (1) of the Children Act 2001," he said briefly when contacted today.
Yesterday evening, a 44-second video clip showed the action of a woman throwing an object at a baby who was crawling.
Besides that, at the beginning on the video you can also see a woman pulling a boys hair.
The video clip, which until this morning received 254,000 views, 6,700 shares and 1,000 shares, was shared by the owner of the Facebook social site Cahaya Naziha Mohd Nhazeri, believed to be the mother of the baby.
