We are aware of how people can be cruel towards animals, and unfortunately, this is exactly what happened when a local restaurant owner and staff discovered three suitcases stuffed with 10 stray cats left abandoned. The video was posted on TikTok by the user @/sheikharjans, who explained that around 10:30 pm, a car entered his restaurant's parking premises. After 15 minutes, the car drove off, leading the OP to think they had changed their mind about dining in. However, at around 3 am, a staff member found three unknown suitcases in the parking lot.
Upon alerting others, they gathered to inspect the suitcases and discovered four adult cats along with their kittens. "Some of them had defecated and urinated inside the suitcases. All the cats appeared to be exhausted, distressed, hungry and frightened in the darkness. For about 6 hours, the poor cats struggled to free themselves from the suitcases," he said.
Sheikh then expressed that he doesn't mind if someone wants to leave unwanted animals at his restaurant, as long as they inform him beforehand. The public expressed gratitude to @sheikharjans for rescuing the unfortunate cats. However, some netizens did not rule out the possibility that the cats might not have been abandoned by their owners but rather by someone unhappy with their presence in a residential area.
