Famous local radio station faces backlash after sharing a post via Instagram for a tribute event to One Direction member Liam Payne, whom just recently passed away.
@hitzdotmy was called out on X following the post above.
A netizen shared the photo, with a tweet that said “WTF @hitzdotmy”, to which many netizens have quoted and replied to saying how “we are now glorying drug addicts and abusers”.
Netizens have also urged for PDRM to take action and shut the event down.
The tribute event is scheduled for two days on the 26th and 27th October.
In the poster, the organiser has also asked fans to bring along posters, flowers, letters, balloons etc.

Though it is unsure on who are the organisers for this event (and if it is still continuing), netizens have also mentioned that this post was shared by a different radio station as well. (@flyfm958)
