Imagine finding out that your yard was inhabited by the world’s smallest snake species, now wouldn’t that be something.
That was exactly the case for a resident at Bandar Hillpark in Selangor, following a call he made to the Saujana Utama Volunteer Fire Brigade about a snake sighting on his yard.
The team then swiftly rushed to the house and conducted a thorough search on the grounds, a result that later unearthed the Brahminy Blind Snake.
Characterized by its resemblence to an earthworm, the reptile measures between a teeny 5cm to 15cm, and has translucent scales on its dotty eyes, hence the name.
Following the operation, many have lauded the rescuers for their efforts, regrdless of the “scale” of the finding.
