Disneyland is definitely one of the must-visits in our travel checklist! From cartoons to theme parks, Disney has become part of our lives and is definitely one of our best childhood memories. Since 1955, the year Disneyland Park was built, Disney has gained more and more popularity. -1- Pin Trading

Disney Pin Trading is a popular long-time hobby at Disneyland supported by Disney.  However, many first-time visitors have no clue on how to trade the pins. In fact, all you have to do is buy a pin at any attraction in the Park and trade it with any cast member (Disneyland staff member) who wears a lanyard around the neck, one pin at a time. Chat with the cast member while you are at it and you might even get a Retired Pin (pins that are no longer in production)!

-2- Claim a FREE First Visit Button

Yes, the excitement upon arriving at Disneyland is real! But before you get on any rides, don't forget to claim your First Visit Button at the Information Counter. Just simply walk to the counter and ask the cast members for the button you want. They even hand out special buttons to guests who are celebrating special days like wedding anniversary or other important milestones.

-3- The birthday person's moment

Celebrating birthdays in Disneyland is a brilliant choice, isn't it? And your birthday will just be more magical when you get a free Birthday Button. It is as easy as walking to the counter and show the cast members your ID. So, why not make your birthday more memorable and wonderful?

-4- Stamps collection

Collecting tourist stamps when visiting Disneyland is fun for adult and children alike. You can get different stamps at different corners in the park. All you need is a Magic Passport that will lead to the stamp kiosks! Moreover, a full collection of the stamps will win you a small gift.

-5- Get your limited edition stickers

The ticket to Disneyland may be a little pricey, but it’s totally worth it as you will be filled with lots of surprises. This includes the stickers of your favorite Disney characters! What you will need to do is find a cast member and ask for the stickers of the character you want as most of the cast members have a variety of stickers of their own. And the things is, some of them are limited edition!

-6- Collecting character signatures

Character signatures are definitely one of the best collectable souvenirs you can get from a Disneyland trip. But how do you do it? Firstly, follow the map to the location of the character performer. Take a photo with the character, then ask for the autograph. Each character has a unique signature and believe me, the signatures will bring back fond memories one day.

-7- The Secret Code

Mark this down if you plan to visit Disneyland alone! Feel like getting on different rides but afraid of the long queue? No worries! There is a single rider line that you can now call your new best friend. This thoughtful perk is very helpful for solo park-goer. Say the password “Single Rider” to inform the cast member that you came alone and WHOOP, you can magically skip a majority of long lines! Doing this will significantly cut down your wait time and give you more time for more fun rides.
