There are more than 90% of the students are affected by coronavirus school closures. As the situation is getting stable in some of the countries, some governments have allowed schools to reopen to continue their education.

1. Denmark
- Tables are arranged six feet apart according to standard recommendations for social distancing.
- No parents allowed inside school buildings.
- To prevent overcrowding, several entrances of the school is open for students.
- Certain class lessons shift from classrooms to outdoors. However, libraries and playgrounds are still closed.
- Students are required to wash their hands every hour and wear masks.
- In some schools, the class size has reduced by dividing the class into groups. Students only attend classes with their groups for certain days.

2. Israel
- Tables are arranged six feet apart according to standard recommendations for social distancing.
- No physical contact allowed with peers, including food sharing, borrow pencils, play games, etc.
- Parents must fill in a declaration form stating their child is healthy.

3. Norway
- Tables are arranged six feet apart according to standard recommendations for social distancing.
- Certain class lessons shift from classrooms to outdoors. However, libraries and playgrounds are still closed.
- As normally the class size is around 20, Norway has divided the students into smaller groups.
- Disinfection twice per day for classrooms and toys

4. China
-Some young students are wearing “social distancing hats” to ensure they maintain 1 meter with their peers.
- Enforce temperature checking upon arrival.
- In Beijing, the school may use an app that calculates the risks of infection for each student. Besides, some schools provide personal thermometers for the students to take their temperature twice per day.
- In Shanghai, there are rooms for students with fever.

5. Taiwan
- Enforce temperature checking upon arrival.
- Students are required to wear masks at all times.
- Students have to sanitize their and their shoes before they enter school.
In the midst of a pandemic, students are suddenly involved in a global experiment of virtual education. Another experiment will launch after the school closures are lifted as the authority and teachers try to enforce new measures and comply with the new policy.
