Malaysia is clearly gripped by perpetual underage bullying. Recently, a schoolboy became the latest victim of this rotting issue- so severe that it drove him to the brink of suicide!
Even more shocking, the motive behind the ordeal was merely him being an ANIMAL LOVER.
According to the Animal Lovers Independent Rescuers (ALIR) of which he has been volunteering under, the boy's avid passion for animals stemmed since he was merely 7 years old.
Apparently, that honourable act didn't sit well with some, especially his schoolmates. He was often subjected to verbal attacks, being taunted with names like 'dirty' and 'smelly'. At one point, the sick bullies even threw away his lunch box, causing him to starve during recess.
What's worse was that NONE of the teachers he confided in had tried to confront the bullies. Instead, they turned a blind eye and dismissed his complaints.
Feeling dejected, the boy tried to take his own life by swallowing pills, even leaving behind a suicide note. His brother later found him unconscious, whereby he was admitted into the ER for more than 50 HOURS.
Thankfully, his condition improved and has now been discharged. Despite that, he'll be needing regular therapy and check-ups to help overcome the trauma.
