A woman driving a Porsche suddenly accelerated forward, with the entire vehicle almost crashing out of a third-floor parking garage, leaving it dangerously hanging mid-air.
According to U.S. media reports, the incident occurred on Monday (23rd), when a woman in Coral Gables, Florida, accidentally hit the accelerator while driving in the third-floor parking garage of a building on San Remo Avenue. This caused the vehicle to crash through the wall and break past the garage barrier.
Photos show the white Porsche with more than half its body suspended in mid-air, its front end resting against a tree, while only the rear wheels remain precariously caught on the third floor. The whole car seemed ready to fall at any moment.
Firefighters took 20 to 30 minutes to successfully rescue the woman. Although she was unharmed, she was sent to the hospital for a check-up. Fire Chief Jones said the woman was extremely lucky, as only the rear wheels were holding onto the collapsed wall. Had the car not hit a tree in front when it flew out, it could have fallen to the ground.
