A young man recently shared a frightening experience in which his mother was almost abducted in Johor Bahru. 

In a viral video, he explained that the incident occurred while his mother was heading to the surau. 

A Proton Saga pulled up beside her, with an older man and a little girl inside, asking for directions. 

The presence of the child made his mother feel safe enough to approach.

However, as she leaned closer to check the phone, someone in the backseat slowly tugged on her shirt. 

Realizing something was wrong, she screamed, causing the car to speed off quickly.

The man warned the public to remain cautious, as this incident occurred in a busy area, not in a deserted location. 

He urged everyone- children, young adults, and the elderly- to be vigilant as threats like this can happen anywhere. 

Many netizens expressed concern, even speculating that the little girl in the car might also be a kidnapping victim.
